I have so much respect and support for both of these artists and believe they’re both going to be heavy hitters in the next few years. Shoutout to Dash over at @LEPBogusBoys, follow them! Freddie Gibbs and L.E.P. had Gary, IN and Chicago, IL on stage with them at The Wild Hare a while back to premiere their first ever collabo “In My Hood”, which will be featured on both L.E.P. and Freddie Gibbs upcoming mixtapes. 

This collabo is only the first of many as they also recently laid down “Leather Kush”, which is sure to be a Midwest classic by the time it hits the streets.  It’s deeper than rap. You’ll be able to grab the mp3 for “In My Hood” this week on Freddie’s Str8 Killa No Filla mixtape. Remember Miami, this Friday July 30th at Eazy Street Gallery Freddie Gibbs will be making his South Florida debut alongside Reks, QuEST, Numonics and C9’s J.NiC$. You do not want to miss this event, it’s only the beginning of The New Miami movement!

Last Rights & Pyramid Builders are proud to present XXL’s 2010 Freshman Freddie Gibbs live in Miami July 30th at Eazy Street Gallery. Gibbs is making moves fueled by the release of the Str8 Killa No Filla mixtape, which is scheduled to drop July 29th, and the album Str8 Killa EP is slated for August 3rd via DECON Records.

Running the set is Poe Boy affiliate DJ Smokey Bear alongside host Butta Verses, as the 305 reinforces Gibbs with performances from Reks (Grey Hairs, Statik Selektah), QuEST (The Reason: Defense Mechanism),  and J.NiC$ (“The Illustration”) (performing an exclusive new record produced by numonics, who will also be in attendance). You do not want to miss this event!

Ten years deep in the rap game, the L.E.P Bogus Boys are anything but rookies, boasting collaborations with everyone from Jim Jones, Young Dro and Yukmouth. The Chicago trio, comprised of Count, Moonie and Bigg Rugg are gaining a new found buzz via MTV Jams with  recent rotation of  “Chicago” directed by Da Visonaryz (Lupe Fiasco “Steppin’ Laser Official Tour Promo”). Chicago’s rich history of hip-hop diversity stems from contributing styles of the Westside (Twista, Do or Die) and Southside (Common, Kanye West) flavors, but the recent lack of exposure of the Chi street life has left a huge segment untapped and the streets without a voice. Their new mixtape “Don’t Feed The Killaz Vol.3” off Infared Music Group is opening the block up and giving the streets a reason to talk.
